We’re a specialist, design‑focused rug partner for the UK trade community, created to make specifying easier, clearer, and more enjoyable. Our mission is simple: to bring a broad, design‑led range of commercial‑ready rugs to the UK marketplace for multiple Artisan makers, backed by honest expertise and a genuinely collaborative approach.
I’ve spent more than 20 years working within the UK interiors market across both retailers and manufacturers within the DIY, Office Products and Specification sectors. Over that time, I’ve had the privilege of building long‑standing relationships with architects, designers, and workplace specialists – partnerships forged through trust, shared creativity, and a love of great design.
My career has taken me into incredible projects across commercial workplaces, education, hospitality, and residential environments. Those experiences shaped The Tailored Workplace: a place where designers feel supported, understood, and equipped with products that truly perform.
Outside of work, life is full and wonderfully busy. I’m a mum to two teenage boys, a lifelong dog lover, we have a Black Lab Milly (below) and a volunteer at SAFE, a local horse rescue charity that’s close to my heart. Those parts of my world keep me grounded, connected, and constantly inspired by the importance of care – whether for people, animals, or the spaces we create.
I combine deep product knowledge with a warm, approachable style (I’m a Northerner). Whether you need early-stage guidance, technical clarity, or help navigating performance requirements, we’re here as your sounding board and your behind‑the‑scenes support. No jargon, no ego – just practical expertise and a genuine love for design.
